Ok, back to the spa. The High Country Motor Lodge boasts a Nordic Spa experience, which is specifically intended to help lucky visitors recharge and recover after days spent on outdoor adventures. The experience includes a sauna, cold plunge, soak, and (our favorite) heated furniture!

The menu, which changes seasonally, checks all the right après boxes: oven-baked pizzas, house-made pastas, and a wine list that reflects the restaurant’s past life as Scout Wine & Cheese bar!
Out front, the patio delivers mountain views, fire pits, and a lineup of Galanter & Jones heated furniture. It’s an ideal place to grab a glass of wine and a snack, stay warm, and stretch the day just a little longer.
